Prerequisites
In order to use The Bet Machine - TBM you will need :
- The Bet Machine Software (Subscription).
- Gruss Betting Assistant for Betfair (Subscription) OR Gruss Betting Assistant for Betdaq (Currently Free).
- Betfair/Betdaq Account.

A Subscription is required in order to place selections with The Bet Machine.

Gruss Betting Assistant

The Bet Machine uses 3rd Party Software called Gruss Betting Assistant to place bets on the Betfair or Betdaq Exchange. TBM connects to Gruss through what is called the COM interface. The COM interface allows TBM to directly communicate with Gruss Betting Assistant. Gruss Betting Assistant places all bets. TBM simply tells Gruss Betting Assistant which selection, what odds and what stake to use.
There are 2 versions of Gruss Betting Assistant. One for Betfair and another for Betdaq. Both can be downloaded from the Gruss Website.

Betfair Version of Gruss Betting Assistant is the more popular software. This version is subscription based at a cost of £6 a month.

Betting Assistant is an alternative interface to the Betfair website enabling you to place bets in a very efficient manner. The application has a number of features aimed at allowing you to develop and implement your own strategies. Many of the features have been designed around your suggestions which will continue to be the way forward.
Betting Assistant costs £6 a month to subscribe to, however the first month is free. To use The Bet Machine and Gruss Betting Assistant for Betfair together you must have the following :

The Betdaq Exchange is currently less popular and less well known than the Betfair Exchange which is why the Betdaq Version of Gruss Betting Assistant is currently free to use.
