Important Update - TBM & Gruss Betting Assistant For Betdaq
As of today (02/04/2025) the Betdaq API is adding the Horse Runner Numbers before the Horse Name. This was previously only the case with International Horse Racing. At this time we don’t know if this is one off or permanent.
This will not affect TBM users if you are adding your selections manually or automated. However it will affect you if you are obtaining selections via any tipsters.
You will need to tell TBM to strip out the UK Horse Runner Numbers. This is done in the RaceList Builder –> Market Options.
Make sure ‘Remove Runner Numbers’ is ticked and then press ‘Save Changes and Refresh’.
The Runner numbers are now removed and Tipster Selections will be picked up as before.
Update – 1225 hours – The issue was due to a problem Gruss Betting Assistant For Betdaq had fetching the Silks from the Betdaq Server. This looks to have now been resolved. Rebooting Gruss Betting Assistant for Betdaq should fix the issue. However it is advised that you enable the Runner Number Stripping incase the issue reoccurs in the future.
